Weekly Update: 28th of July

Summer is officially upon us, which is why our feature photo is a bit more summery and flowery than usual.

We would like to thank everyone who has given us feedback about the portal. Although the live chat is meant to be for technical difficulties I (Ms. Tiu) have enjoyed engaging and interacting with you guys and providing whatever insights and tips I can to make this easier for you.

I continue to be awed by the sheer effort that your review directors put into helping you with your learning journey. They even created lesson plans that incorporated study time in the portal, and we are trying our best to align our upload schedules to this lesson plan.

With that said, we have some exciting new uploads for you this week.

First, if you haven’t done so already, do check out our test-taking strategy course, which was popularly requested via the live chat.

Next, see a list below of some of the new topics that have been uploaded:

  • Burn Management

Here’s something that will set your world on fire. Let’s review those partial and full thickness burns and their management. Remember, safety first, ABCs next.

  • Orthopaedic Care: Tractions

This is probably the trickiest section of the musculoskeletal system, all those hardware and pins and weights. We’ve tried to make this as easy and fun as possible using interactive scenarios. Check it out!

  • Paediatric Nursing Test Bank

We have finally completed our paediatric nursing test bank. Nearly 400 questions all about caring for children and supporting the frantic parents that come part and parcel with them.

We hope you continue to work hard towards passing the NLE. It feels hard right now, but if I may give you one tip, its this: just stick with it. Consistency is key, and I would argue that a well-planned and well-formed study habit beats intelligence any day. Hard work always pays off.

Have a wonderful week ahead!
